Doesn’t this video help you dream of Daufuskie Island and Haig Point Club? Well I can help you make that dream a reality!
There’s something about a trip to Daufuskie that takes you on a trip back in time, and to a quieter way of life. The only way to get to Daufuskie is by boat or by ferrry. Haig Point has it’s own ferry service available for residents and guests, and the rest of the island is serviced by various ferry and charter services. Very few cars are permitted on the island (outside of Haig Point) and the primary mode of transportation is by golf cart. So yes, it is a little difficult getting here but oh so worth the effort.
The 8 square miles of Daufuskie Island hold a wealth of history, pristine golf courses, sparsely occupied beaches, artistic & culinary surprises, and friendly people. There is also an Equestrian Center, a an artisan village, farm & community garden, a marina if you happen to have your own boat, and a lighthouse you can actually rent for a weekend or special event.
I am happy to arrange a Discovery Experience for you on Daufuskie Island to find out if you’d like a piece of paradise here. In the meantime, here are the current listings for Daufuskie Island. Contact me at 843.505.3132 or email me to arrange your personal tour of homes.

Enjoy a brief photo tour of Palmetto Bluff by Lori Bee, Realtor. 843.505.3132 for homes for sale.
It’s no secret that Palmetto Bluff is MY personal favorite community in the lowcountry. I spent the afternoon with my dear friend, and fellow Realtor, Rochelle Ferguson with DR Horton Homes, talking about new construction in the area, while we did a walking photo tour around the bluff. Here are a few pictures. Each one will expand on as you click it.
And as always, if you’d like a list of available homes or your personal tour around Palmetto Bluff, feel free to call me at 843.505.3132 or email me at Lori@LoriBee.com .
So it’s been a bit since I blogged. I really do most of my blogging and picture uploading on my Facebook page at Lowcountry Livin’. And of course, my real estate site is at LoriBee.com. But I do need to be better at posting here too. I really do take quite a few pictures.
This picture is how I sold a house earlier this year. I call it “Selling the Low Country.” I took out a blanket , a bottle of wine, and told the prospective buyer to sit and wait for the sunset. Yeah… she bought. 😉
It’s not hard to sell life here. It is so beautiful but I love documenting it and sharing it with all of you.
That being said, I love someone sharing my posts and pictures…. but WITH credit. I know I’m not a professional photographer, but if I care enough to post the shot, it’s because I’m proud of it. I don’t like others using it for their own commercial purposes. I’m thinking I need to really start watermarking them. Another way to slow me down from posting…. but a las, if I want to protect my work, and my love of the beauty I document, I guess I must.
But be prepared to see a few more shots posted here. I’d love your thoughts and honest feedback on them. And what do you want to see about the lowcountry, perhaps, that I may not have yet shared…. Let’s take new adventures together.
And of course, let me know if I can help you with living your dream here. It would be my pleasure.
