Soaring Sunrise

Lori Bee captures a Seagull Soaring in the Sunrise over the oyster beds between Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, SC.

So “my Joe,” recently switched shifts at Gulfstream.  He used to have to be at work at 3 pm and now he has to be there at 5am.  He hates it.  LOL.

I on the other hand, being a former farm girl, like being back to a morning routine.  I am much more productive.  And as much as I love sunsets, now I get to enjoy sunrises again too.

Here is this morning’s view.  Let me know if I can help you have a view like this.  It would be my pleasure.

The Covenant

Photos of Pritchard Pocket Park and the Bluffton Covenant located on the banks of the May River, by Lori Bee.

I’ve lived in Bluffton 4 years and just this morning, finally explored  ” Pritchard Pocket Park.”  I’m so glad I did because the moment took my breath away. And I had no idea that Bluffton had its own Covenant. It so touched my heart. I will definitely be back.

Selling the Lowcountry

sellingthelowcountry

So it’s been a bit since I blogged.   I really do most of my blogging and picture uploading on my Facebook page at Lowcountry Livin’.    And of course, my real estate site is at  LoriBee.com.    But I do need to be better at posting here too.   I really do take quite a few pictures.

This picture is how I sold a house earlier this year.  I call it “Selling the Low Country.”   I took out a blanket , a bottle of wine, and told the prospective buyer to sit and wait for the sunset.   Yeah… she bought.  😉

It’s not hard to sell life here.  It is so beautiful but I love documenting it and sharing it with all of you.

That being said, I love someone sharing my posts and pictures…. but WITH credit.   I know I’m not a professional photographer, but if I care enough to post the shot, it’s because I’m proud of it.  I don’t like others using it for their own commercial purposes.   I’m thinking I need to really start watermarking them.  Another way to slow me down from posting…. but a las, if I want to protect my work, and my love of the beauty I document, I guess I must.

But be prepared to see a few more shots posted here.  I’d love your thoughts and honest feedback on them.  And what do you want to see about the lowcountry, perhaps, that I may not have yet shared….    Let’s take new adventures together.

And of course, let me know if I can help you with living your dream here.  It would be my pleasure.
